The University College London offers a range of financial awards aimed at helping current and future students with their studies.
The purpose of the Access Opportunity Scholarship is to support those who, due to their immigration status, are unable to obtain student loans for their higher education.
Value: Full tuition fee and a living allowance of £11,000 per year. There are two scholarships available.

Selection Criteria: Personal and financial circumstances, residency status, and academic potential.
Eligible Programs: All Bachelor’s Programs
Deadline: Friday, May 20, 2022
- Have an offer of admission to UCL to study a full-time undergraduate degree for admission 2022/23 and;
- Are asylum seekers, children of asylum seekers, unaccompanied asylum-seeking children who are seeking asylum in the UK, or forced immigrants residing in the UK and have been granted a form of temporary permission as a result of an asylum application or a human rights request. (for example, limited residence permit, discretionary residence permit, humanitarian permit
- Not being able to access student financing (tuition fee or maintenance loan) due to your immigration status.
Value, Benefits, and Duration
The scholarship will consist of tuition fees and a living allowance of £11,000 per year for the normal duration of your program at UCL.
Annual renewal of the scholarship is subject to satisfactory academic progress.
